Popol Vuh

In the story Popol Vuh the Myans state that god created the world. They also said that god created he first "wood" humans which were imperfect and emotionless another thing they state is that god destroyed he first human "resin" flood which then became monkey. Which lead the idea of homosapians in becoming humans that live in today's world.

 In the book of genisus ch2 states that god created man from the dust if the ground as well as a garden that had river and many edible fruit trees. In which he then created Adam and Eve in Eden. The tree of life and the knowledge of good and evil were placed in the middle of the gardens. Adam is commanded not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Adam named all the animals while searching for a partner/helper/companion in which he found Eve. The heaven and the earth are then completed in which god then rests on the 7th day declaring it holy There were many difference between the two stories.
 One of the major points was the way that man was created. One thing that wasn't explained well in Popol Vuh was how the "starters" were created

The themes that reoccurred in the poetry of Gabriela Mistral portrayed a lot of kiddish vibes. She was a school teacher which was acceptable for her to about things like that. Her sexuality was a huge controversy. Because of her job and how much she adored kids, there never was a man in her life which allowed for suspicion in society. She addressed the rumor in a single passage in a journal saying that it was very insulting towards her.  I don't think it matters if she is a lesbian or not. No matter what her poetry should be looked at like a blind file. Alfonsina Storni

Alfonsina Storni was very different form the other poets that wrote in the time or era she lived in while writing her amazing poetry. She was a poet originated from Argentina. A couple things that make her very different form the other poets were the choice and wording and language she used for her poems. She also wrote a lot on feminism and her works were very detailed about her opinion. In the poem "Hombre pequeñito" the canary in the poem represents women during that time era. The women of suffrage especially and the cage metaphorically represents the ideas of those men. In my eyes it represented metaphorically a locked up scenario in which the women would be forced to do things which in this sense be placed in the cage to basically be told what to do. In the poem "Peso ancestral" I believe the tu represented the men in society who weren't appropriated to show emotion, or could've also been those in the community who weren't able to do so....

Jose Marti

José Martí era una poeta nacional de Cuba. Él era una figura importante para Cuba porque sus ideas ayudo unificar a Cuba. Martí está hablando de Cuba y que cantidad él está orgulloso a Cuba. “Nuestro América” es Cuba porque la cantidad de veces que empieza hablar de. Un problema con las universidades en Los Estados Unidos es que no hay una universidad de América. También las universidades ensenan el arte básica del gobierno. Ellos no saben nada sobre el político en que está pasando. Los jóvenes son ineducados y no querían la educación. Los jóvenes también entienden que no hay cultura fuerte en Los Estados Unidos. También querrán crear  las ideas de los políticos.
